Orbit Guidelines 2.0 (NS-OG 2.0)

-# Official Nova Suite Design System Specification

1. Introduction

Orbit is the design language that underpins the entire Nova Suite ecosystem. With version 2.0, we’ve taken a deliberate step forward to ensure that every interaction, every surface, and every component feels intentional, balanced, and recognizably “Nova.” The primary goal of NS-OG 2.0 is not only to establish consistency across all applications but also to reflect the evolution of the Nova brand, moving toward a more modern, glassmorphic aesthetic, a vibrant color palette, and a typographic voice that is clear, readable, and engaging.

NS-OG 2.0 is designed to guide both designers and developers. It explains not only what the standards are, but why they exist and how they contribute to a cohesive user experience. It is the blueprint for building apps that feel unified, polished, and delightfully interactive, all while maintaining accessibility and responsiveness at every step.

This version introduces several major updates: a refreshed color palette for clarity and vibrancy, the permanent adoption of the Garet font across all platforms, hierarchical container systems for structured layouts, a responsive spacing and grid scale, widespread use of glassmorphic surfaces, refined animation and motion guidelines, and a comprehensive rethinking of components and interactive states.
